The Geneva Motor Show, always highly anticipated because it is the symbol of sports cars and dream cars the most popular of the planet. This edition lived up to its reputation, but the proportion of nano-manufacturers and tuners of all kinds repulses me more and more.
Before presenting the Ferrari models, I will start by giving you my overall feeling. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Maserati, Lotus, Aston Martin... all these brands have come with new models, satisfying lovers of all backgrounds. Nevertheless, I am disappointed with our visit certainly made only on the first press day. Already, this year Forza Passione has not accreditation, but we have been issued a pass. Some manufacturers did not hesitate to relegate us to second place just because of that. Then, as almost all models were announced in previous days or weeks on the internet, the models remained hidden until the press conference. This is the case of Ferrari for GTC4Lusso, who flatly refused us access to stand until 10:30 or 3 hours after the opening of the gates of Palexpo. The consequence is that we can not work from the beginning, when there are fewer people. The picture quality is seriously feels because we do not have the time to make the optimal settings. It is very frustrating.
Here is the GTC4Lusso as we can see up to the press conference that started late around 11:45. I recall that the car was presented in February to the press.
Meanwhile I photograph the visible models, and at the opening of the stand I do the other angles and car interiors. Here a 488 GTB two-tone with carbon pack.
California T opens New Handling Speciale package which enables a more sporting character depending on the choice of the pilot through Manettino. It does not become the equivalent of a 458 Speciale compared with a 458 Italia, but becomes sportier than GT.
The F12 Berlinetta lives perhaps its last Geneva Motor Show. The TdF already being made, but absent in Geneva, its days are numbered.
In Tailormade customization room, we find a second California T, also equipped with the Handling Speciale, in a historic livery recalling the 250 GT SWB Berlinetta s/n 2335GT.
On the stand is a Formula 1 SF15-T with the 2016 colors.

The press conference starts. It's Enrico Galliera, Ferrari marketing manager who does it. The people present at that time is always impressive.
The new GTC4Lusso is unveiled. The replacement for the FF is still wants to be a shooting break. Its four-wheel drive also become steering to improve its performance, but also safety floor to degraded adhesion. The front is less clumsy than the FF, it's a good thing. The line is dynamic despite a wheelbase of 2 990mm. The rear sees the return of the four round lights, but their integration shocks me a little, it may take a little time to get used to.
Two copies are presented, after the Grigio Ferro is a Bianco Italia than here. The panoramic roof provides interior pleasure and exterior styling remarkable.
But it is inside that the name Lusso makes sense. Indeed, here no carbon profusely, but leather and aluminum inserts. The huge touch screen, coupled with a second at passenger side allows thanks to Apple carplay navigate as on our smartphone. The passenger can manage audio or simply enjoy the settings and performance of the car. Relatively useless, but so luxurious!
I always do a tour in Hall 7, dedicated to professionals, and this year it's a 458 Challenge I find on the Amstutz Produkte stand. I'm glad to see it in its version of presentation.
