The Geneva motorshow, now known as the Geneva International Motor Show, opens up our new car season. But a little tired of seeing cars covered up to the press conference, the choice was made this year to make our visit only the second day open to the press on Wednesday. Arrived on the spot from 6:30 am, we were able to enter at 7:30, Switzerland precision compulsory!

This year the report will be unique and condensed. This does not mean that the content is not interesting for all that ...

Let's start with the most anticipated of the French sportcar: the Alpine A110. Beautiful exercise style to take back the codes of her elder, she does not hesitate to show her chassis aluminum, completely naked. One of the most beautiful discoveries in the salon.

Having failed to approach the DB11 last year due to an unusual influx, I hoped to be able to approach it this year on the Aston Martin stand, but the only exposure was in full demonstration for a customer. The booth was nevertheless well filled with a Vanquish S Volante in a beautiful configuration. But it is the Race side Aston wanted to highlight with this Vantage AMR. A Rapide also wore this finish, but I confess I do not understand ...

All this with the ultimate goal of making us discover the Valkyrie, the future supercar designed with RedBull. Not far from there, a Vulcan was exhibited on the Castrol stand. An equally impressive monster.

Bentley continues to present dream concepts but ultimately sell SUVs.

The Bugatti remain in a world apart.

The Americans, especially this Chevrolet Camaro are becoming more and more fun.

Citroën is back in the WRC and it is the only thing that interested me at their home:

And since DS has become a full-fledged brand in the PSA Group, I took the time to discover this first model of Luxury French. My impressions, and those of people around me at that time are good. Will sales follow?

Ferrari unveiled the new 812 Superfast graphically before the show, but let's start with the current range with the California T:

The GTC4 Lusso, here in V12 version

The 488 GTB with the almost traditional yellow Tristrato that goes so well to the modern Ferrari.

The 488 Spider wore amazing mustaches under the spoiler.

Here is the new 812 Superfast with its 800hp atmospheric V12, announced as the most powerful V12 of the Mark, but remember that the LaFerrari (excluding hybridisation) also develops 800hp for just 6.3litres of displacement contrary to the 6.5l of the newcomer. But this does not detract from the mechanical beauty of this machine.

As usual, the Tailor Made Ferrari has concocted a special version, from the catalog dedicated to the 70 years of the Brand. It is a 488 GTB dressed in a historic dress of the 290 MM of Juan Manuel Fangio. More than the outer dress, it is the interior details that I liked: different seats, inserts of color ...

Ford has released the great game for its GT with 2 specimens accompanied by a GT40.

The Lamborghini Aventador S was unveiled before the show, but it was a first for us.

The real novelty is it: the Huracan Performante

But I stay on the Huracan Spider in rear wheel drive version: only propulsion.

A pretty Aventador SV was also hiding in Hall 7

McLaren goes in a direction I do not like at all. The more time passes, the more I regret the MP4-12C. This 720S is probably the worst.

Mercedes shows us the GT-R in its famous matt green livery. Aggressive at will, but less class than the S.

As for this anniversary version, even in Roadster, the AMG key can not be better embodied.

From there to make a 4-door version ...

Pagani will not have managed to keep the secret of his Huayra Roadster until curtain raising. But the key is to run the new plant. The 100 copies are already sold! The C12 Roadster is there for the historic side!

Peugeot is a must for me. Because I am a customer, because it is French and being chauvinistic, it does good, and especially because it is the only Brand of the hexagon that happens to make me still a little dream! The Lion roars again, probably because of the thunderbolt with Opel!

The 208 GTI sports a new clean cut with blue. And the SUV 3008 proudly promoted Car Of The Year throne next to the DKR winner of the Dakar.

But it is Instinct that attracts the most people. Beyond the stylistic concept, it is the way of driving, or rather being driven, that is put forward. Peugeot's vision of the automobile in a few years is there.

While Pininfarina remains more traditional with this impressive Fittipaldi EF7 which will appear in the next opus of the video game GranTurismo.

Porsche has decided to put forward its Panamera Sport Turismo but we prefer the new GT3 or GTS

The Renault Trezor concept seemed to me much nicer in reality, its dimensions are not finally as important as the proportions let it think. But the red windscreen is too much! The Zoe in sport version? Why not!

SCG is now part of the Supercars builders. After the race version, here is the final version of the Stradale SCG003

Touring has teamed up with Artega to offer us this concept, which will probably be at Villa d'Este next May.

Thanks to the social networks and Arthomobiles, I learned that a LaFerrari was parked in front of the Four Seasons hotel in Geneva. The detour was inevitable. This is a matte white pearl version with all carbon options. The interior is also white. Apart from the black rims, I find this configuration very beautiful. The difference in size with the AMG 6x6 is fun.

Very nice edition which opens well this new season which will be largely dedicated to the 70 years of Ferrari.
